Finally Updated My Portfolio

Submitted: 8 months Ago

Well its been a long time coming, but I finally updated my portfolio. When I graduated my community colleges associates program in web development I figured it was time to put up a portfolio website, problem was I knew very little about actual programming.  I was taught a lot about html css and basic JS/JQuery, the infrastructure of the web/security, and concepts and theory surrounding it.  While I tried to incorporate what PHP I was taught, I built a beautiful basically static website with Javascript DOM events everywhere.
At the time I was pretty upset with paying for a degree where I walked away with little to no programming know how.  However, after now spending close to a year on my own studies I see that what they did teach me was a good foundation on which to build after all, it was only an associates program.  I am very proud of all that I have accomplished in this short time span, and now that I have a proper blog and portfolio site I am going to use it to document and showcase my growth as a developer.
